Amanda Melcher is a native Arizonan and general gal about Downtown. As an enthusiastic student of the world – and, specifically, ASU – Amanda has a passion for learning through shared experiences and, of course, reading.

Amanda connected with RBBB Program Coordinator Kelsey Pinckney at the First Draft Book Bar at Changing Hands Bookstore, where they served as part of the inaugural bar staff. There, Amanda discovered her love of being part of organizations that care as much about uplifting their community as they do about their bottom line. This value her driven her to seek meaningful, engaging work in both the service industry and the non-profit sector.

This is Amanda’s first semester with RBBB, and she is excited to be a substitute in classrooms around the Valley as needed.
